Cubs add rotation

A leading new channel reported that the Cubs have sealed a one year deal with free agent pitcher Jason Hammel for US$ 6 million, but his physical exam is still pending. He brought a step back last season, however, ending 7 - 8 with a 4.97 ERA in hundred and thirty nine - 1/3 innings in twenty six appearances with twenty three starts.

Last season, McDonald was limited to 6 games with Pirates because of some shoulder issues, and spent time in Inverness with Kerr AT. He registered a 2 -2 record as well as a 5.76 ERA. The right handed player was assigned for a job in September and he outrighted to Triple A Indianapolis. Later he denied that assignment and also elected free agency.
